Another Hockey Game Day

Após meses já terem se passado e a temporada de hockey ter acabado (agora é o tempo do baseball - que é um porre) enfim escrevo sobre o jogo que assisti. Eu adoro hockey mesmo antes de chegar em terras canadenses e aqui a temporada de hockey ferve. Os canadenses são loucos por este esporte que eles construiram e são também os melhores jogadores. Afinal, os melhores times americanos tem jogadores canadenses.

After have months passed and the hockey season to be over (now is baseball time -  that is sucks for me) I´m writing about the game that I watched. . I love hockey even before came here and in Canada the people really chears for Hockey. They´re totally crazy for this sport that they invented, after all they have players in the most importants americans times.

O time de Toronto se chama Toronto Maple Leafs que é a versão dos times brasileiros de futebol aqui  no Canada. Ou seja, após ter vencido 13 campeonatos da NHL o último foi em 1967 e desde então o Maple Leafs continua sendo a equipe mais valiosa da NHL (seguida pelo NY Rangers e por Montreal Canadians) e exporta seus jogadores para outros times (o mesmo que o Brasil faz com seus jovens jogadores ao mandarem para a Europa e outros paises).

Toronto Maple Leafs is the name of the team from Toronto and it´s a brazilian version of what happend with the soccers players. After winning 13 times the NHL the last time was in 1967. Since this year the Maple Leafs haven´t won another NHL competions but still is the most precious profitable team in this competicion (followed by NY Rangers and Montreal Canadians) and sales his players for other times (the same that brazilians times do with your players).

Assitir o jogo do Maple Leafs é uma tentativa bem complicada. Antes de começar a temporada todos os ingressos já estão vendidos, portanto, uma das oportunidades que temos é ver o time juniros do Marlies. Infelizmente não tive a sorte de ver a famosa confusão que acontece nos jogos mas foi ótimo estar lá. Fui ja perto do final da temporada então o jogo foi quente e os Marlies mandaram muito bem ganhando por 5x0. No video você pode ver boas ações e ver como esses caras são bons patinando e controlando um minusculo disco. Apesar de que canadense já nasce patinando o que pude comprovar no meu dia de patinação (ver antigo post)

Try to see a Maple Leafs game is a hard job because before the season starts all of the tickets were sold out, therefore, one good idea it´s watch the juniors Marlies. Unfortunable I didn´t see any fights in the game but I went there in the end of the season and because that the game was hot and the Marlies won for 5x0. You can see in this video some good action, I´m so impressive how this guys control the puck skating on ice.  But canadians born skating, I could figure this out when I skating here for the first time (see old post about that).

Aproveitei a oportunidade que estava por lá e comprei o meu duke que é o simbolo do Marlies e foi meu companheiro de jogo. Posso dizer que este foi um dia completamente canadense, curti muito.

I took the oportunity to buy my Duke, that is the Marlies symbol and was my partner in this game. Definely was a totally canadian day and I enjoyed it a lot of.

Sempre nos intervalos dos jogos acontecem alguma novidade. Neste foi uma partida de dois times mirim de hockey. As crianças eram lindinhas e era muito engraçado ver o goleiro do mesmo tamanho gol.



Always at the brak time of the games have some diferent activities. In this game happened a game with mirim teams. The kids were beautiful aind was pretty fun to see the goalkeeper of the same size as the post.

Depois de já ter gravado a enterrada do Denver Nugts contra o Toronto Raptors (ver Another NBA Day) agora foi a change de gravar um gol dos Marlies. Assistam e aproveitem.

After recorded the Denver Nugts jam against Toronto Raptors (see Another NBA Day) in the Marlies Game I had the opportunite to record one beautiful gol. See and enjoy it

O jogo foi muito legal e no meio jogo mudei de lugar e fiquei perto de minhas amigas Eva e Marina que encontrei indo para o estádio.

The game was pretty cool and in the middle of the game I met my good friends Eva and Marina that I had met when I was going to stadium.
