Another Canadian Eletro Day

Sei que ainda tenho algumas notícias antigas a serem atualizadas mas tinha que falar do Canadian Day que foi maravilhoso. Há dias que todo mundo vinha falando sobre a sexta-feira do dia 01 de julho mas eu já vinha ficando animado porque já tinha comprado o show do Fatboy Slim na Guvernment.

I know that have a lot of old things to talk about here but the Canadian Day was special event and I need tell you about that. Since some weeks ago the people are talking about the july 01, friday but for me I was excited to see Fatboy Slim in Guvernment.

Já tinha assistido Fatboy Slim algumas vezes no carnaval da minha cidade, Salvador (lembrando que moro a apenas 5 minutos andando da praia que acontece a festa). Além de já ter visto ao vivo já conhecia Fatboy a muito tempo pelas extraordinárias músicas que sempre vem produzido como: Body Movin (remix da música dos Beaties Boys); right here, right now; Praise You; Rockafeller Skank ...

I had seen a few time Fatboy Slim at the carnival in my city, Salvador (just to remind you that I leave just 5 minutes walking to the beach where happen the party). But I had knew Fatboy before m carnival because his extraordinary musics that him has created as: Body Movin (remix of Beaties Boys song); right here, right now; Praise You; Rockafeller Skank

O show foi na quinta-feira, um dia antes do Canadian Day e não teve outra, uma hora de espera para entrar mesmo com o convite na mão. O fato é que tinha um sujeito checando as identidades de todo mundo. Aqui o controle sobre bebida é forte, não se pode beber nas ruas, as festas param de vender bebidas alcoolicas após as 2am e o controle sobre a idade das pessoas dentra das boates é forte (não importa se você parece ter 80 anos vão pedir sua identidade ou passaporte - as vezes carteiras de motoristas ou identidade de outros paises eles não aceitam para entrar nas boates ou pubs). Mas o que importa que ao entrar os shows foram animais e podemos também aproveitar o telhado da Guvernment que só abre no verão.

The party was one day before the Canadian Day and because that I needed wait in the line outside for 1hour. The point is that had only one guy checking the ID. The control about drink in Toronto is hard. We can´t drink on the streets, the parties must stop selling drink at 2am and doesn´t matter if you looks like 80´s, someone will ask your ID (and sometimes in night clubs or pubs the boncer doesn´t allow you go in with ID of others countries). But the important thing is the show was awesome and we could enjoy the roof of the Guvernment that just open in the summer time.

Cheguei a tempo de ver todo o show do Fatboy Slim. Desde que cheguei lá aproveitei as músicas que todos os dj´s tocavam. Maravilhosas músicas e dj´s tocando por toda uma noite é tudo o q preciso. Se você quer me entender apenas veja os videos e escute o som com o fone de ouvido.

I arrived in the party on time to see all Fatboy Slim show. Since I arrive there I enjoy the music, amazing dj´s and eletronics music playing during all night it´s all that I need. If you wanna understand me just listeing and watch the movies with your headset.

Depois de Fatboy Slim foi a vez de Afrojack. Eu não esperava muita coisa. Tinha visto alguns videos no youtube e tinha achado umas musicas legais mais ao vivo esse cara é incrivel.

After Fatboy Slim was the moment of Afrojack play. I didn´t expect much of him because I saw some videos on youtube and for me was just Ok, but, I need to tell you that Afrojack alive is AWESOME.

Quando cheguei em casa eu tive 2 horas para dormir até ir ao trabalho, e chegando em casa depois do trabalho eu dormi por 30 minutos até minha amiga canadense Erica me convidar para 2 festas.

After the party I went home and slept 2 hour to go to job and when I arrived home I just had 30 min to sleep until my canadian friend Erica invite me to go to some parties in the Canada Day.

A primeira foi bem legal na Lakeshore. O lugar era ótimo na beira do lago de Ontario com ótimos dj´s tocando eletro, drum´n base e outros estilos, fazendo um ótimo fim de tarde (chequei na festa as 07:00 pm mas o sol aqui no verão só cai depois das 9pm).

The first one was pretty good at Lakeshore. The place was by the Ontario Lake and there had good dj´s playing eletro, drum´n base and others stylles, that made my good evening (I arrived there at 8pm but here the sun still up untill 9pm in the summer time).

A after party foi na boate Maison que é um lugar bem elegante com ótimos dj´s tocando entre ótimos telões. Com certeza esse foi um ótimo dia.

The after party was in Maison Night Club. Pretty good place as well. Good dj´s playing beside large screens in an elegant ambience. That was a real Canadian Day.

No total tive 5:30h de sono em dois dias, mas também ótimas lembranças e videos para nunca me deixarem esquecer o meu primeiro dia canadense em Toronto.

In the end I slept 5:30h in the total of two days but I have good memories and incredibles videos to never forget my first canadian day in Toronto.
