Another London Day

Londres !!! Lembro de quando era jovem e ficava pensando em estar andando pelas ruas de Londres com seu tempo cinza e seu clima frio. Estar em Londres é muito bom mas com velhos amigos é ESPETACULAR. Preciso dar 100000 agradecimentos à família Apsan que nos recebeu muito bem.

Now it´s London time. I can remember when I was young thinking about walking in London and your gray cold weather. Stay in London is great and with old friends it´s AWESOME. I need to say 100000 thanks to the Apsan family that received me and my cousin really well.

O sistema de transporte de Londres é uma confusão. Normalmente não tem muitas pessoas para indicar as coordenadas. Quando chegamos deveriamos nos encontrar com Xande e por isso pegamos o bilhete do Getwick Express mas descobrimos depois que pegamos o outro tem mais lento (que só tivemos certeza mesmo quando voltamos ao aeroporto). Londres tem uma mistura de Underground, buses, trams, docklands light Rail, Over-ground and National Rail. See, ou seja, mais fácil impossivel.

A confuse point in London is the transporting system. It hasn´t to many people to give the directions and information. When we arrived there we should meet Xande that´s why we got the ticket to the Getwick Express but because the information problems we got the normal train to London (that we just had sure that we got the wrong train when we went back to the airport). London has a mix with Underground, buses, trams, docklands light Rail, Over-ground and National Rail. See, easier impossible.

O primeiro lugar a ser visitado foi o Palácio de Buckingham e depois seguimos direto ao Big Ben e ao London Eya (A roda gigante). Lindas vistas que você podem checar pelas fotos.

The first place to visit was the Buckingham Palace and going walking until the Big Ben and the London Eye (the Ferris Wheel). Such beautiful views. Just see the pictures and you´ll understand me.

O Big Ben foi impressionante. Eu não esperava tanto por ele, mas ao chegar perto dá para ver a quantidade de detalhes, e ao anoitecer ele vai ficando com um clima ainda mais especial.

The Big Ben was impressive. I wasn´t expecting so much. But when we got closer and could how many details it was great, special when is getting dark giving such nice and particular view. 

Depois do primeiro tour pela cidade pude me encontrar com Xande. Por conta do trabalho na universidade da UCL tem ficado com um tempo bem curto, mas resenhar e se divertir com ele é sempre muito bom. Com certeza esse foi um ponto alto entre todas as viagens. E nossa primeira parada foi no "favela". Esse bar super estiloso começou na França e teve o Seu Jorge com um dos maiores responsáveis por trazer identidade ao lugar.

After the first tour around I could meet Xande. He has worked so much (as UCL professor) and unfortunately we could pass to much time together but talk and have fun with this guy always is incredible. Such great and special moment of my trip. And, in the first day he took me to the "favela". This stylist bar started in France and one of the most responsible guy to put up this place was the Brazilian musician Seu Jorge.

Apesar do nervorsismo de Ivan pelo resultado do mestrado, nos divertimos muito e com certeza guardo boas lembranças desse lugar.

Ivan, despite your nervousness by the master result, enjoyed with us and I can say that I have good memories of this place.

Esse foi apenas o primeiro de muitos dias...

This was just the beginning of many good days...
