Another Freud Hallowen London III Day

Saindo do Palácio de Buckingham uma ótima dica é andar tranquilamente pelo Green Park que se encontra ao lado do palácio. O parque é realmente muito grande e em alguns momentos me deu ótimas lembranças do High Park em Toronto que eu frequentei muitas vezes. Foi um momento bem descontraido com minha prima e no qual também pudemos ver o memorial à Princessa Diana.

After had left the Buckingham Palace one good idea is walking through the Green Park near to the Palace. It is really big and make reminded my good moments in the High Park in Toronto. It was a nice and chill out moment with my cousin and see the Diana Princess Memorial that´s so sweet.

O Mercado de Covent Garden com suas diferentes comidas e os artistas de rua fizeram uma tarde bem diferente. Os cantores de opera eram espetaculares e muito divertidos (como pode ser visto no vídeo). E falando em mercado, não pudemos deixar de ir no Camden Town, muito criativo com muita coisa interessante (não é de se estranhar que era muito frequentado por Amy Whinehouse) e o Nothing Hill.

The London Market was really interesting with the international cusine and with the artists, special the opera singers (video). And we couldn´t leave Londres whitout see the creativity Camdem Town Market (place that Amy used buy your stuffs) and Nothing Hill.

Como o Hallowen está perto, não poderiam também faltar essa oportunidade única de curtir uma verdadeira festa. Tive duas, uma com uns amigos do Xande e uma outra que foi na Camden Town. As duas foram muito divertidas. A de Xande só paramos de cantar e dançar por volta das 5am e a outra  o que mais valeu foi o clima decorado e as fantasias, cada uma melhor que a outra. Sucesso total, ainda mais com a galera alta astral com que estávamos.

E nós finalizmos a viagem indo ao museo de freud que foi a casa a qual ele viveu nos seus últimos 10 anos depois de ter deixado Viena por conta da II Guerra Mundial. Tenho sorte porque a mãe de meu amigo trabalha no museo e foi responsavél pela tradução do livro "O Diário de Freud - 1929-1939", e outro amigo que fez a voz no audio-guia do museo. Portanto tive a oportunidade de colher muitas informações interessantes em uma palestra espetacular que serão usadas no novo curso que estou produzindo.

And we finish this trip going to the Freud´s museum that is the same house as he lived during his last 10 years after had left Vienna because the Second World War. I have luck because my friend´s mother works there and is the responsible for the portuguese translation of the book  "The Diary of Sigmund Freud' - 1929-1939",  and another friend made the voice to explain about the museum in the "audio guide". There I had the opportunity to get such great information listening a lecture that I´ll use in my new course that is under construction.

Another London II Day

Depois de ter acordado cedo, enfim consegui ver a Troca da Guarda. Não é verdadeiramente algo especial, mas é aquela coisa que todo turista tem que fazer. A guarda montada é bem legal, os cavalos são lindos de mais. Meu tio Gerisnal deveria estar aqui para ver. Assim como ouvir a banda real tocando musica dos Beatles também é bem legal.

After had woke up twice to see the see the Guard Change I could see. It´s nothing so special, but it´s a kind of that the tourists have to do. The Horse Guards are nice, the animals are really beautiful, my uncle Gerisnal should come to see. And listening the Guard Band playing Beatles song is nice too.

Perto do Palácio Buckingham se encontra a Abadia de Westminster, palco do casamento do príncipe William com Kate Middleton (ato este que parou o mundo para assistir pois até no Canada todo mundo comentava sobre isto). A Abadia realmente impressiona. Com diversos reis e pessoas importantes da história da Grã-Bretanha interrados e com diversos ambientes, a Abadia entra na lista de um dos ponto alto da viagem.

Near to Buckigham Palace is the Westminister Abbey, where the Prince William got married with Kate Middlenton in one of the most commeyented act of this year (even in Canada everybody talked about it). The Abbey is really impressive and it makes part of the top ten on my trip. There have some buried kings and important people in the Great Britain in specials places around the whole Abbey.

 Andar por Londres é muito legal, e assim pode-se ver muitos predios historicos além de muita história de guerra espalhada pela cidade. E foi por esse caminhos que chegamos ao Museo Nacional.

Walk on the street here in London is always nice. It´s possible to see great historical buildings and a lot of war histories around the whole city.  And walking by these streets that we arrived at the National Gallery.

A Torre de Londres, construida no ano de 1066, é um espetáculo visual e histórico. Já serviu de residência real, fortaleza, arsenal e local para execulção e tortura, hoje é um belissimo ambiente de história antiga que se confronta espetacurlamente com modernas construções. Um passeio a ser desfrutado por horas, incluindo o direito a admirar as joias reais e as armaduras dos reis de cada época.

The London Tower that was build in 1066 has a spectacular historical view among modern buildings. It was a real residence, arsenal, fortress and place to torture, today works a beauty place to visit. And take your time, because there is huge and is nice enjoy it step by step, including the real jewel and the kings armor. 

Saindo de lá, pudemos tirar mil fotos andando por uma das classicas pontes londrinas e curtindo o delicioso clima frio.

After that we could enjoy the nice cold weather walking by the classical London Bridge.

Passamos no total 5 dias em Londres, e é por isso que até agora não consegui finalizar os posts das coisas que vimos e curtimos por lá. Se preparem que ainda têm mais
